503086 For ceiling height under 26', the EZ Fold backstop may be operated by a manual winch with a removable handle. The winch features double worm-gear reduction with a 36:1 ratio and composite gears to make the unit virtually maintenance free. The cable drum is helical grooved for 1/4'', 7 x 19 aircraft cable to provide proper spooling. Drum is equipped with a pressure roller with torsion spring tensioning to insure cable tracks in grooves even under slack conditions. Gears and cable drum are enclosed by integral cover. Winch is capable of holding a backstop at any position when raising or lowering. Operated with standard removable handle or optional Portable operator.
